When Cain killed Abel, God said: “Your brother’s blood cries out to me.” Genesis 4:10. Abel’s blood, silently pooled on the ground, cried out to God. And it was not just the cries of Abel’s blood that God heard. The Hebrew word used in Genesis 4:10 is the plural form of blood. Cain’s selfish act killed not just Abel, but generations of Abel’s offspring. Cain had committed generational homicide, and God heard the cries of injustice from all those who would never be born as a result of Cain’s selfish act.
The abortion industry has claimed the lives of over 50 million babies in this country since the Supreme Court handed down Roe v. Wade in 1973. Can you imagine the decibel level in Heaven produced by the blood of the 50 million innocents slaughtered through abortion and their numberless offspring ?
On October 15, 2013, thousands of students at schools and colleges across the country will participate in the annual Pro –Life Day of Silent Solidarity (PLDOSS). They will give up their voices for a day in solidarity with those who permanently lost theirs (and continue to at the rate of 4,000 a day) in the womb. Participants will wear red arm bands and red duct tape. They will also distribute flyers explaining their silence and educating others about the abortion industry’s staggering death toll.
